North Central vs. Brebeuf--JV
After a big win against Bishop Chatard the Braves were back in action against the Panthers of North Central High School. The girls started off strong with an offensive surge but couldn't find the back of the net until Sam Mullennax was fouled just inside the box for a penalty kick. Claire Kelley stepped up to the spot and found the back of the net just 5 minutes into the game to make it 1-0 Braves. Brebeuf continued to dominate until the Panthers scored off a break away with six minutes to go in the first half.
The second half saw just as many chances for the girls but they were shut down by the North Central keeper until Kelly Rodman hit a shot from outside the 18 past the keeper with 10 minutes to go in the game. Not long after, Stephanie Dimos picked up her second goal in as many days by chipping the keeper with 7 minutes left. Amaris Grimme picked up 3 saves in the goal for Brebeuf.
