Lutheran vs. Brebeuf JV
On September 9th, the Braves traveled to Lutheran High School to take on the Saints. This would serve as a true test for the girls, as they would take on Lutheran’s Varsity squad. We started out strong, having 14 shots to their 3 in the first half, but Lutheran managed to find the back of the net twice in the first half on two breakaways. However, just 3 minutes before the end of the first half, Claire Kelley scored off a cross from Anne Marshall to take a 2-1 score into the half and the momentum.
The second half saw the same stats in the shot category with Brebeuf taking 22 shots to their 2. The Lutheran offense proved to be too much and they found themselves on yet another break away and to another goal. The game would end in a 3-1 loss for the Braves.
