Looking to win back to back games, we knew it would be tough as Warren Central plays their quality opponents very tough. The first half was a very good half from the Lady Braves who not only played very hard, but really possessed the ball a majority of the half.
At the seventeen minute mark, Kayla Delaney served a good ball into Maddie Malatestinic who found the net from 6 yards out. Although we controlled the first half, we only had one goal to show for it. The second half was a bit different as Warren really came out to play. For the first twenty minutes, they really outplayed us. We still held them shotless, but we were not playing the way we are capable of.
We had a group of players come off the bench halfway through and step it up for us. Not only did they get the game going back in our favor, but Lexi Humm put away her first goal of the year with thirteen minutes left. We went home with a 2-0 victory which gave us 2 wins in as many games.
